Who we are

What we process
Merchant account details (name, phone, email, business identifiers) and, when you use collections features, end-customer identifiers needed to schedule and trigger MTN MoMo request-to-pay (e.g. MSISDN and consent / schedule metadata). We do not process sensitive personal data as defined under Rwanda Law Nº 058/2021 for our core product.
Why we process it
To provide the SaaS (onboarding, scheduling, request-to-pay orchestration, status reporting, support), to meet legal obligations, and with consent or contract as applicable.
Money movement
Kada is not a payment service provider and does not hold customer funds. Wallet-to-wallet transfers are executed by MTN MoMo after the payer approves with their MoMo PIN.
Where data is hosted
Application hosting uses Cloudflare (edge / cloud infrastructure outside Rwanda). We have applied to Rwanda's NCSA / DPO for registration and for outside store / transfer authorizations.
Your rights
Under Rwanda data protection law you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction where applicable. Email hello@kadacollect.com. You may also contact the Data Protection & Privacy Office (NCSA).
Retention
We keep account and transaction-status records only as long as needed for the service, support, and legal retention, then delete or anonymise.
